Wolperdinger - Branding

The Branding for the German-Chinese jewelry brand Wolperdinger, founded 2015 by the jewelry designer Sandra Kurfiss in Beijing, China. A Wolperdinger is a mystical creature from ancient legends of South Germany. It is very rare to see one and almost impossible to catch. People say it looks like no other creature they have ever seen. A mixture of different species and most probably magical. Sandra's works are inspired by Chinese culture and her study of Sogetsu Ikebena (Japanese flower arrangement) in Tokyo. Therefore the corporate identity must be elegant and combing german heritage with asian minimalism.
